Good to know

Blackberry Hollow provides a unique glamping experience. We are located in the lush foothills, on the scenic loop of the Cascade Mountains. For security, we have a private gated entrance, and we are close to the Wild and Scenic Skykomish River among other fun adventures: rafting, climbing, hiking, and skiing. This tiny cabin features a dreamy feather-top leather sofa which converts into a queen bed. An amazing lounging area that is also a double bed and a built-in bunk with floating stairs. The glamping cabins are off-the-grid cabins that have limited modern conveniences, so we urge conservation. There are rechargeable lights and a power station to charge them and your devices. Drinking water is provided and you also have access to amazing well water that is filtered. The heat source is a wood-burning stove which can be temperamental during low pressure systems. Please read the provided directions even if you are a seasoned woodstove user. Your first bucket of indoor firewood and a fire starter will be provided. There is a dining table, kettle, games, books, and slippers for your enjoyment. The covered outdoor kitchen is located steps away and includes a cookstove with a griddle and BBQ attachment. The water provided in this area is non-potable and can be used for cleaning and washing hands. We have the basic cookware stocked for you, frying pan, cooking utensils, hot pot, large bowl, percolator coffee pot, and oven mitts. Soap and sanitizer are there for you to use. Your private firepit area with seating wraps up the little relaxing oasis. Outdoor firewood is not provided, feel free to bring your own or you can pick a bundle here for a fee. Just down the trail a bit we have one cute portable restroom which is shared with other guests. Solar lights are lining the main trails to the cabin. There is also a lantern and some deodorizer spray if needed. We do recommend bringing a flashlight. We are working on other facilities in the near future. This is a forest setting so you might see wildlife just passing through. We try to keep food and debris off the property so as not to attract unwanted pests. Since this is a forest area there can be little pests such as but not limited to mice, spiders, mosquitos, flies, and gnats. As you are strolling the trails you can pick and eat berries at your leisure certain times of the year. There are huckleberries, salmon berries, thimble berries, native blackberries and Himalayan blackberries. Eat at your own risk
